Funeral/Peace Forum

On January 15th gunmen invaded a village and began shooting and killed two young people and injured several people some of them are still in hospital and none of the gunmen have been arrested so far, they are still at large. It happens that one of the young person killed is a youth leader and a member of the church that happens to be our church branch in the area.

Today I went there with team to attend to several issues, help conduct funeral service, console the bereaved family, present Jesus as a peacemaker to a bitter villagers who were looking for away to revenge.

Many people attended the funeral/peace service, when the meeting was finally handed over to us, I was given time to speak the word of God and response was so encouraging because many repented, and also over 120 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ for the first time, later we prayed for the sick and we saw Jesus heal many people from different ailments.

A man who had a backache got his healing instantly and that made many to respond by coming forward, and because the time was not on our side, the burial was to take place we did a general prayer many came later to us testifying hearings .
